Tatting

Ok, I am learning on how to needle tat, easy. I like the knots and hopefully, I can add some of my edgings to my stitching. I am currently working on my first kproject, or doily.

I saw on the kittyandme site that Pam did some tatting. I saw her work and think, I want to learn this. I did. I bought two shuttles ( I doubt that I will learn how to use them) and a book on needle tatting with needles. I have a Pearl cotton spool already (for specialty stiches in cross-stitch, I never use, LOL).

To see what tatting is, I go to www.etatters.com. For Pam's website, go to www.kittyandme.com.

ELCA

Being a LCMS, I can't stand ELCA. For one thing, they go against what Luther and the Bible actually said.

Where do you get women pastors when the Bible is against women pastors (1 Timothy 2:11-15)? How can a woman be a husband? She can't. Christ is the groom and the church is His bride.

Also, open communion. Do you know that the early church has closed communion? I can't remember where I read this. Why have open communion with other denominations?

I don't consider E*CA as Lutherans. They are not. I call them, Evangelical Liberals of America. It is one of the American type of religion where they don't listen to God and only listen to Man.

My synod is a Bible teaching synod. I am more of a confessional Lutheran than a conservative. My pastor is very conservative in his preaching. If I have a question, I go to him about it.

What we are doing is what the early Christians are doing, and yet, the other denominations don't see it as such?

I like traditional hymns. Very old hymns. I am not into contemp music of today. It does not sound right. Traditional means church to me. Contemp means today's world, which I do not need at church, LOL.

New blog

Even though I have a blog, I thought that this will be for my Lutheran point of view and my crafting. I am 30, live in Ohio, single. I work at Lowe's Distribution Center 990.

As I mentioned, I am a Lutheran, Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) to be exact. The church I go to is Concordia Lutheran Church in Findlay, OH. It is a nice church and small. The pastor is Rev. Gerry Mohr. He have been there for over 22 years. We are adding on to my church to put an elevator and move the entrance from back to front. I do the Announcement Sheet, Altar Guild, Voters' Assembly, Nursery, Offering Counter.

BTW, my other blog is www.livejournal.com/users/pualanijo
