Hurricane Katrina
I should have posted on this instead of my other blog.
I have a friend in New Orleans. I was chatting with him online when he told me that he is going to evacuate. Me, being a worrywart that I am, was getting worried about him. I prayed for him. (I am in Ohio, so I was not that effected, when Katrina moved north, all I have gotten was rain all day and not much wind. The mountains really weakened her quick.) I have finally called him up on my cell. He ended up being in Austin. I did contact him a few days later, to see how he is. Did not realize that he was about to go to bed, oops. I work at night at my job and I called him on my lunch break, which is midnight my time. Oh well. I might call him tomorrow. I have gotten that small cross that I had tatted for him finished, all in chain stitch. I just have to stiffen it up.
Sorry, Lima, but you are also getting a doily from me, LOL. Just kidding, I will look for a bookmark pattern to tat for you. I like to make things for my friends, LOL.
BTW, my best friend and my close friend's name: Rev. Limakatso Nare.
